Brother’s roll out a frightening promotion

Brothers Cider is giving punters a taste of Halloween in the form of a new promotion for its Toffee Apple variety.

Drinkers of a nervous disposition, or those who have already had a few too many, may get a bit of a fright when they take a ‘comfort break’. Brothers Cider is particularly targeting pubs which have a high percentage of student customers. It is providing licensees with A2 posters which will make witty reference to student’s away-from-home diet.

Brother’s other flavours include strawberry, lemon, and Festival 7%. It first started selling its Pear Cider at the Glastonbury Festival in 1995.

Meanwhile, Aspall, another cider producer, is already looking forward to the next festival season, having signed a five-year deal with events specialist Creativevents. Attendees at such events as the BBC Good Food Show, the Mayor of London’s Thames Festival and others, will be able to refresh themselves with Aspall Suffolk Cyder served in a new 500ml plastic bottle.
