Constellation and Gaymers relaunch with labels
Both Constellation and Gaymer Cider Company are relaunching selected brands which are part of their portfolio. Both the relaunches will involve using labelling which promotes the distinctive quality of the brands.
Gaymer’s is making Addlestones and Gaymer’s Orchard Reserve stand out from the bunch with the labelling which will carry the emblem ‘Premium Gaymer’s Collection’. The company believes that, partly as a follow-on from the Magners over-ice cider explosion in 2006, cider drinkers are becoming increasingly discerning about which variant they opt for. Both varieties of Gaymers Orchard Reserve will be sold in 500ml, rather than 750 ml bottles. Addlestones will still be sold in dark glass but the new packaging will give more emphasis to the cloudy quality of the cider within. Meanwhile, Australian wine brand Hardys, which is part of the Constellation portfolio, will emphasise the consistency and heritage of the brands. The labels will feature the logo ‘Established 1853’ and will be supported by a summer marketing campaign. Hardys' range includes Nottage Hill, Stamp, Oomoo, Eileen Hardy and Thomas Hardy and others
