CGA Strategy is the UK's leading market intelligence consultancy specialising within the £24 billion 'on trade' licensed sector (pubs, clubs, bars etc). Operating solely within this fascinating industry, our clients make up the who's who list of major drinks producers including all beer, cider, wine and spirits producers as well as all leading retailers and pub companies.
Following a recent strategic partnership with the world's largest market research companies, we are looking for ambitious, talented people to play critical roles in the next stage of our development, and ultimately to be the future managers and directors of our rapidly growing business.
The Role
- Working closely with a supportive and knowledgeable Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in the delivery of market intelligence, information and insight to our blue chip customers.
- Processing, manipulating and interpreting various data sources you will work with a small number of large accounts, eventually becoming an expert in your customer's businesses, their marketing and brand development goals and the 'on-trade' sector as a whole.
- Regularly interacting with your clients, you will attend face to face meetings with key decision makers, supporting the relevant Account Manager or Director and developing the commercial awareness needed to progress in the company.
The Person
- Naturally inquisitive.
- Very IT literate, ideally with Microsoft Access skills.
- Detail focussed with strong completer/finisher traits.
- Highly numerate and comfortable manipulating data.
- Degree qualified.
- Strong team player with good written and spoken English language skills.
- Ambitious, hard working and interested in the drinks industry.
